The exact services supplied will be set out in the relevant quotation, proposal, invoice or written agreement.
2. Quotes and Acceptance
Prices shown on getonlinenow.co.uk are guide or starting prices unless stated otherwise.
A project price will be confirmed after the required work has been discussed.
A contract begins when the client accepts a quotation or proposal and, where requested, pays the deposit or first invoice.
Any work outside the agreed scope may be quoted separately.
3. Website Build Payments
Unless another arrangement is confirmed in writing:
50% of the website project fee is payable before work begins
The remaining 50% is payable before the completed website is launched or handed over
Deposits reserve project time and cover work started on the project.
Work may be paused where an invoice is overdue.
4. Monthly Services
Monthly services such as Website Care, Website Growth, SEO or advertising management are normally invoiced in advance.
The service provided each month will reflect the package or scope agreed with the client.
Unused support time does not accumulate unless agreed in writing.
Work exceeding an included monthly allowance may be quoted separately.
5. Initial Service Period
Where a recurring service is supplied subject to an initial commitment, the default initial service period is six months, unless a different period is stated in the quotation or agreement.
After the initial period, the service will continue on a rolling basis.
Either party may then end the recurring service by giving two months' written notice, unless another notice period has been agreed.
Fees remain payable during the notice period and agreed services will continue to be supplied.
6. Website Build Scope
A website project includes only the pages, functionality, integrations and work set out in the agreed scope.
Unless stated otherwise, a standard website build does not include:
E-commerce systems
Bespoke software development
Complex booking systems
Membership platforms
Large product catalogues
Extensive copywriting
Paid third-party software
Photography or video production
Unlimited revisions
Reasonable changes may be requested during the build.
Major changes to the agreed direction or scope may require a revised quotation.
7. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing information reasonably needed to complete the work, such as:
Business information
Contact details
Prices
Services
Images
Logos
Legal or regulatory wording
Access to relevant accounts
Timely feedback and approval
Project timescales may move where required information, access or approval is delayed.
Clients are responsible for checking factual information, pricing, claims and business details before final publication.
8. Content Supplied by Clients
The client confirms that they have the right to use any text, images, logos, trademarks, photographs or other materials supplied to Get Online Now.
Get Online Now is not responsible for copyright or other legal claims arising from materials supplied by the client without the required permission.
9. Content Writing
Where content writing is purchased, the scope may include research, article writing, website copy, search-focused structure and related content work.
Article lengths and content specifications are approximate unless a fixed requirement has been agreed.
The client remains responsible for checking specialist, regulated, medical, financial, technical or industry-specific claims before publication.
One reasonable correction round is included unless another arrangement is agreed.
Substantial rewrites following a change of brief may be charged separately.
10. Domains
Where possible, client domains will be registered separately from the website hosting platform and kept under the client's ownership or control.
The client remains responsible for domain renewal charges unless the quotation states that Get Online Now is managing them.
Get Online Now will not deliberately prevent a client from transferring a domain to another provider.
Any outstanding invoices relating to domain services must be settled before paid-for services are transferred.
11. Hosting and Website Platforms
Get Online Now may host and manage client websites through a centrally managed hosting or website-building account.
This helps keep costs proportionate for smaller websites.
Sites may be built using hosted drag-and-drop website-building platforms, WordPress or other suitable tools.
The platform selected will depend on the project.
Third-party hosting and platform services remain subject to their own technical limits, terms and availability.
12. Website Portability
Some hosted website-building platforms do not allow the complete website design to be directly exported or moved to another platform or account.
If a client moves to another provider, Get Online Now will cooperate reasonably with the handover and provide client-owned materials available to it.
This may include:
Domain access or transfer support
Client-supplied images
Client-owned logos
Website text
Analytics access
Search Console access
Relevant account information
A new provider may need to recreate the website design on another platform.
Rebuilding or migrating a website to a new system is not included in standard termination or handover unless agreed separately.
13. Website Care
Website Care covers minor website maintenance within the monthly allowance stated in the package.
Minor work may include:
Text changes
Price changes
Image replacements
Opening-hours updates
Contact-detail changes
Link changes
Small amendments to existing content
New pages, major redesign work, new functionality, large content additions and structural changes are not classed as minor amendments.
Such work may be quoted separately.
14. SEO Services
SEO work may include activities such as:
Search research
On-page optimisation
Page titles
Meta descriptions
Heading improvements
Internal linking
Google Business Profile work
Content improvements
Search Console review
Indexing checks
Local search work
Search engines and AI-driven search services are controlled by third parties.
Get Online Now does not guarantee:
A particular ranking position
First-page placement
A fixed increase in traffic
Inclusion within AI-generated answers
A particular number of leads or sales
SEO work is intended to improve the quality, relevance and visibility of the client's online presence over time.
15. Meta Advertising
Meta advertising services may include campaign setup, targeting, copy, basic creative work, tracking, monitoring and campaign management.
Advertising spend is paid separately from Get Online Now management fees unless agreed otherwise.
Advertising platforms control auction prices, delivery, account approval and advertising policies.
Get Online Now cannot guarantee a particular number of leads, sales, bookings, impressions or conversions.
Clients remain responsible for the accuracy and legality of claims made about their products and services.
16. Email Marketing
Email marketing support may include campaign planning, copywriting, layout, audience segmentation, scheduling and performance review.
Clients are responsible for confirming that contact lists have been collected and may be used in accordance with applicable privacy and electronic marketing rules.
Get Online Now may refuse to send or prepare campaigns using lists where the source or permission status is unclear.
17. Analytics and Tracking
Get Online Now may configure analytics, conversion tracking, advertising pixels or similar systems.
Tracking depends on third-party platforms, browser technology, cookie consent and user privacy settings.
Reported figures may differ between systems and cannot be guaranteed to capture every interaction.
18. Third-Party Costs
Charges for services such as:
Domains
Premium plugins
Paid software
Email platforms
Advertising spend
Stock photography
Booking systems
Third-party applications
are separate from Get Online Now fees unless the quotation states otherwise.
The client will be told about material third-party costs before they are incurred on the client's behalf.
19. Intellectual Property
Clients retain ownership of logos, text, photographs, trademarks and other materials they supply.
Once all invoices for a project have been paid, the client may use original written content and project assets created by Get Online Now for that client.
Get Online Now retains ownership of:
Internal processes
Reusable templates
Working methods
General design systems
Tools
Know-how
Reusable code or components
Materials licensed from third parties
Third-party software, fonts, plugins, templates and platform elements remain subject to their respective licences.
20. Portfolio Use
Get Online Now may ask permission to display completed work in its portfolio, website or promotional material.
Client names, logos or commercially sensitive information will not be used as a public case study where the client has declined permission.
21. Project Cancellation
If a client cancels a website or one-off project after work has started, fees may remain payable for work already completed and time already committed.
A deposit may be retained to cover work already undertaken and reserved project time.
If work completed exceeds the value of the deposit, an invoice may be issued for the additional amount.
Any statutory consumer cancellation rights that legally apply remain unaffected.
22. Ending a Recurring Service
Recurring services can be ended according to the minimum term and notice period agreed with the client.
At the end of the service, Get Online Now will provide reasonable cooperation with account and domain handover.
Time-intensive migration, rebuilding, export or third-party liaison beyond a reasonable handover may be chargeable.
23. Suspension of Services
Get Online Now may pause or suspend work where:
Invoices remain unpaid
Required access has been withdrawn
A client requests unlawful or misleading work
A client's actions create a security risk
Continuing the service would breach platform rules or applicable law
Where practical, the client will be contacted before a service is suspended.
24. Availability and Third-Party Services
Get Online Now aims to provide reliable services but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability of websites, hosting, search engines, social platforms, email systems or other third-party technology.
Temporary disruption may occur through maintenance, outages, security incidents or events outside Get Online Now's reasonable control.
25. Liability
Get Online Now will provide services with reasonable care and skill.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where exclusion is prohibited by law.
Subject to that limitation, Get Online Now will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits, lost opportunities or loss arising from the actions of third-party platforms.
For business clients, Get Online Now's total liability relating to a service will normally be limited to the total fees paid by that client for the affected service during the preceding 12 months, or the total project fee for a one-off project, whichever is relevant.
26. Data Protection
Personal information will be handled in line with the Get Online Now Privacy Policy.
Where Get Online Now processes personal information on a client's behalf as part of a client service, separate data-processing terms may be agreed where required.
27. Consumer Rights
Get Online Now's services are primarily intended for business customers.
Where a client is legally acting as a consumer, nothing in these Terms removes statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
28. Changes to Services or Pricing
Website prices and public package prices may change over time.
Changes to advertised prices do not alter an existing fixed-price project that has already been accepted.
Changes to recurring service fees will be communicated before they take effect.
29. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory rights that apply to a consumer.
